Terms of use

These terms are the end user license agreement between Jefferey Garrett Scales, doing business as RetainAgeIQ, a sole proprietorship based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee ("RetainAgeIQ") and the business that uses the service at retainageiq.com.

RetainAgeIQ is business-to-business software for Middle Tennessee trade subcontractors, suppliers and fabricators. It sends payment reminder emails for the client's own unpaid invoices. Those emails are sent as the client, from the client's own mailbox. Payment links go to the client's QuickBooks invoice. A person approves every AI-suggested reply.

RetainAgeIQ is for a client's own invoices. It is not a third party that pursues payment of someone else's invoices.

RetainAgeIQ lets that business use the service to send payment reminder emails for its own unpaid invoices, as itself, from its own mailbox. Payment links go to that business's QuickBooks invoice. A person at that business approves every AI-suggested reply.

RetainAgeIQ is for businesses only. The person who accepts these terms must have authority to bind the business.

You own your invoices and your messages. You must have the right to contact your own customers. You must comply with CAN-SPAM and applicable law. A person at your business approves every AI-suggested reply before it is sent.

Do not use RetainAgeIQ to send spam, to contact consumers about personal debts, to harass anyone, or to make false statements.

RetainAgeIQ connects to QuickBooks Online with read-only use of customers, invoices and payments. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time. The organization's synced data is deleted within 30 days of that disconnect.

Billing is a flat $99/month subscription via Stripe. RetainAgeIQ does not store card numbers.

The subscription is billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current period. RetainAgeIQ does not refund partial months. RetainAgeIQ gives 30 days' email notice before a price change.

QuickBooks, Stripe, email providers, and Supabase are separate services. Their terms apply when you use them. RetainAgeIQ is not responsible for their outages.

Data is hosted on Supabase. RetainAgeIQ does not sell personal data.

The privacy policy describes how information is handled.

RetainAgeIQ is provided as is. RetainAgeIQ does not guarantee that any invoice gets paid.

RetainAgeIQ's total liability under these terms is capped at the fees you paid in the prior 12 months. RetainAgeIQ is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

If a claim arises from your messages or your data, you will indemnify RetainAgeIQ for that claim.

Either you or RetainAgeIQ may end this agreement. Information is deleted within 30 days after the account is closed or QuickBooks is disconnected, except billing records kept as required by law.

RetainAgeIQ may change these terms and will give notice before a change takes effect.

The laws of Tennessee govern these terms. Venue is in the state or federal courts for Rutherford County, Tennessee.
